The Gospel throne is designed as a backdrop to the infant Jesus whom the celebrant Priest would cradle and place in the manger during the procession at the Christmas Eve Mass. 

With the winged creatures representing the four Evangelist to form the foundation of the throne, the gospel display scripture from John 1:14, “And the Word was made flesh and dwelt amongst us”.

The Lamb of God, “AGNUS DEI” is expressed in victory at the top, seating on the books of seven seal and looking towards the Cross triumphantly.
